This course will focus on fundamental aspects of horticultural practices.

CLO1: Describe the history, branches, importance and scope of horticulture

CLO2: Explain the principles and practices including planting methods, raising of seedlings and different intercultural operations

CLO3: Apply the skills of different nursery management, pruning, training and propagation practices

CLO4: Introduce the contemporary new technology in the area of horticulture

CLO5: Harvest and postharvest handling of different horticultural crops
