Rationale

This course provides knowledge about postharvest management, factors affecting postharvest quality, physiology, harvesting & handling, storage technology, processing and preservation of horticultural crops

  • CLO 1: Analyze the existing status of postharvest management of horticultural crops in Bangladesh
  • CLO 2: Outline the preharvest factors affecting postharvest quality
  • CLO 3: Explain different postharvest physiological processes

  • CLO 5: Demonstrate different storage technologies, employ processing and preservation methods to prepare value added products
